AC Installation in Phoenix, AZ & the Phoenix Metro Area
George Brazil has handled AC installation across the Phoenix area since 1955, from central Phoenix homes with original ductwork to newer builds in Gilbert and Buckeye. An undersized or aging system cannot keep up once Valley temperatures pass 110°F, so we size every new system to the home itself, not just the square footage.

AC Installation Tips & FAQs
George Brazil is here to help you prevent costly and inconvenient cooling system issues. Here are a few tips to keep your system running efficiently and your indoor air quality optimal:
How much does AC installation cost?
The cost of replacing your home’s cooling system depends on:
- System Type: Central AC, heat pumps, and mini splits have different pricing.
- Home Size: Larger homes require more powerful systems.
- Energy Efficiency: Higher SEER-rated systems cost more upfront but save more long-term.
- Ductwork Condition: If your ducts are old or damaged, they may need modifications or replacement.
At George Brazil of Phoenix, we provide custom quotes and financing options to make your new AC system affordable.
Call us at (980) 223-0782, or book an online appointment.
How long does air conditioning installation take?
Most AC installations are completed in 48 hours, but the exact timeline depends on your home. If you have existing ductwork in good condition, installation is typically faster. However, if new ductwork, electrical upgrades, or modifications are needed, the process will take longer.
Will a new air conditioner lower my energy bills?
A new high-efficiency air conditioner can significantly reduce your cooling costs, especially if you’re upgrading from an older unit. Modern AC systems use advanced technology like variable-speed compressors and high-SEER ratings to improve efficiency.
How do I choose the right air conditioner for my home?
Choosing the right air conditioner is crucial for efficiency and comfort. A unit that’s too small will struggle to cool your home adequately, while an oversized system can lead to short cycling and higher energy bills. Consider your home’s square footage, insulation levels, the local climate, number of windows, and sun exposure when comparing makes and models.
