Air Duct Installation Tips & FAQs
How much does air duct installation cost?
Air duct installation costs vary based on home size, duct design, materials used, and labor. If you’re replacing existing ducts, we’ll also assess their condition. Other considerations include:
- Home Size: Larger homes require more ductwork and longer installation times.
- Duct Design & Layout: Complex layouts can increase costs.
- Material Type: Flexible, fiberglass, or metal ducts each have different costs.
- Accessibility: Installing ducts in tight crawlspaces or attics may require more labor.
- System Compatibility: Retrofitting new ducts for older HVAC systems may involve extra work.
At George Brazil of Phoenix, we provide custom quotes and financing options to make HVAC duct and vent installation affordable.

How long does HVAC duct & vent installation take?
Many residential duct installations are completed within 1-3 days, depending on your home’s layout and the complexity of the system. We’ll provide a timeline during your in-home consultation, so you know exactly what to expect.
Will new air ducts lower my energy bills?
Yes. Leaky or poorly designed ducts waste energy and overwork your HVAC system. Replacing or upgrading your ductwork improves efficiency and helps lower monthly utility costs.
Can new ducts improve indoor air quality?
Absolutely. Properly sealed and insulated ducts reduce the circulation of dust, allergens, and moisture, especially when paired with other air quality products like air scrubbers and filters.
Do I need to replace my ductwork when I upgrade my HVAC system?
Not always, but we’ll inspect your current ductwork for things like leaks, blockages, and poor layout. If issues are found, upgrading may be necessary to get the most from your new system.
