Mini Split Air Conditioning
A ductless mini split cools, and in most models heats, individual rooms without pushing air through ducts, so no major construction is required. That makes it the standard fix for the historic homes around downtown Phoenix, for sunrooms and converted garages, and for any space your central system cannot reach economically. If a whole-home system is the better fit instead, our AC installation team will tell you that honestly during the assessment.

Mini Split AC Tips & FAQs
How does a mini split system work?
A mini split system has two main parts: an outdoor unit and one or more small indoor wall-mounted units. These units work together to heat or cool specific rooms in your home, no ductwork needed. Each indoor unit has its own remote or thermostat, so you can control the temperature in each space separately. It’s a simple, quiet, and efficient way to stay comfortable all year long.
How much does a mini split air conditioner cost?
Mini split systems typically cost less to install than traditional central air because they don’t require ductwork. Pricing varies depending on how many indoor units you need, the brand, and system features. We offer transparent pricing and financing options to make it affordable.

Will I save money on my energy bills with a mini split system?
Yes. Mini splits use inverter technology and zone-based cooling, so they only run when and where you need them. This drastically reduces wasted energy and cuts down your monthly utility bills.
How often does a mini split system need maintenance?
Routine maintenance prevents expensive repairs and extends the lifespan of your mini-split system. To ensure peak efficiency, schedule:
- Filter cleaning every 2-4 weeks (the frequency recommended by most manufacturers)
- Annual refrigerant checks and coil cleaning
- Professional inspection of electrical components and drain lines
